Laced up corset full of secrets.

Happiness never looked like a flowery edged plate, with it's unusual curves pushed out like actual petals. They  had always told me it would resemble a classic, circular disc of a standard dinner plate.I looked so much, but never found even a shadow of a suppressed smile in those.
They never mentioned how longing would be painted a rose gold, and not streaked blatant crimson.
And in a generation when every little tragedy and every pretty nuance of  whatnot could be romanticized into the glory of a love song that falls soft into ears, singing them to conscious sleep...
They never hinted that wild roses could outgrow their bushes, instead of being taken care of or tamed.
Weed out,so persistent-till they are taken notice of and deemed "beautiful".
Never suggested that the nightsky could fit into a teacup or one's fist, with all it's constellations of dreamy stars and nebulous dreams and wishes.

I found out anyway, found out for myself, when I let my feet dangle graciously over the edge-swish and swoosh.
Here we go,they said.Discovering all the truths unsaid.

SparkleSpinAndTwirl.

Trying to tell you why I live for my friends,
Is like trying to describe the colour of coca-cola-Now  it’s black, undertone of amber, now it’s golden, bubble and fizz, kinda caramel, back to black again.
Almost impossible, you'd have to know them, see them, all that they say and do,live these pretty moments from my eyes for that.
Because  they’re all I have, all I feel like I need or should have.
Like the warm glow of candlelight on your face from a Birthday cake, like the childish delight in stealing strands of spaghetti from the vase at Pizza Hut.
And laughter and sorrow so intertwined, that you can’t tell them apart anymore.
Like Labonel chocolate icing from cupcakes melting into happiness in your mouth,a momentary heaven.
Strings of fairy lights strewn across a classroom wall, our glory days to shine.
Like the hug so tight, bringing together, fixing all that’s broken.Holding you together.
Flowing conversation with pitcher-fulls of emotion.

Trying to tell you why I live for my friends,is like trying to tell you why I’m alive. How I taught myself to survive.
this is how you make me feel.

When "someday" turned into this day.

In an ordinary looking yellow house, lived a little girl.
She was around five,I believe, and bright as a cherub.
She lives beside the school that taught me everything,
next to an equally ordinary postoffice.
But what changed, what took away her identity that could have been-
Beautifully complete before it became so,
was an event no one knew of,no one spoke of.
A terrible, extraordinary act that ruined her childhood,at the least.
No one chose to believe her, what did she know, silly child.
Silly little girl, indeed, for letting her innocence trust people, look to them for help. The same adults to whom the monster belonged, the one who took it all away, left her all the pain-a legacy to last forever.
So that one major event got pushed to a corner as insignificant, but it stayed,
Forever, scarring her, every bit and every day.
Until one day,she found the love, the only power which can heal wounds deep.
And she let go,she let go slowly, finally.
Still she lives in that yellow house,a life ordinary,as tonight she turns fifteen. And know what? She wins,in every moment she wins against the darkness, the monsters inside her head. She smiles way too bright now to let out the light from her life again.
we are infinite.
